Dan Yr Ogof Caves Visit to Santa’s Grotto

The annual visit to meet with Santa at the Dan Yr Ogof Caves in Abercraf has now been arranged for Monday, 20th December – 10.30 slot for actual meeting with Father Christmas. So far we have a total of 19 elves (children) and 18 elder elves (adults) coming along which means we still have space for another 10 persons in the coach we have booked to take us to our destination.

If anyone is interested in joining our party, please let me know before the end of October where a £5 deposit is needed to secure the booking. The coach is leaving Lots Of Tots, Canolfan Maerdy premises in New Road,Tairgwaith at 9.30 a.m., leaving the National Show Caves around 2.00 p.m. which means we have plenty of time not only to visit Santa and for the children to receive their presents, but also to look around the caves.

I personally am very excited. For 23 years or more I have promised myself a visit to the caves but, until yesterday when I went up to secure the booking, I have never actually been there. It was quite exciting walking through the legs of a dinosaur to get to the gift shop where I’m not ashamed to admit I was bowled over by the extent of goodies on sale and came away bearing a heavier load and much lighter wallet!

So, if you want to join our party, where the total cost, including transport, for elves is £8.50 and £5.50 for adults, please do let me know by next week. Email me on trainingontap@btinternet.com or lotsoftots@canolfanmaerdy.co.uk.
